Easter holidays: from Saturday, April 4th to Sunday, May 3rd, 2026.
Our new workshop, “Wild Cuisine,” was designed exclusively for the “Châteaux en fête festival” event. It will therefore only take place between April 15th and 30th, 2026.
Easter holiday worshops
Children’s falconry workshop (ages 5-13) at 2:15 pm, reservation required (except Saturdays).
Musketeer workshop (ages 8-88) at 3:45 pm and 5:15 pm, reservation required, Monday to Friday.
Feeding of exotic birds from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm (except Saturdays).
Feeding of goats from 3:45 pm to 4:15 pm (except Saturdays).
Street art workshop (ages 6-99) at 4:00 pm, reservation required, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Walk-through aviary open all day from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
Our birds of prey presentations take place at 11:15 am, 3:00 pm, and 4:30 pm.
NEW! Wild Food Workshop: From Plant to Syrup (April 15-30 only, during the Châteaux en Fête festival):
Dive into the world of edible plants. Pick and make a raw plant syrup to take home.
Workshop at 2:45 pm: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Ages 6-99. Limited to 12 people. Duration: 45 minutes. Reservations strongly recommended: +33 5 53 59 31 21 or via the Facebook page @lechateaudesmilandes.

Escape Game: Josephine's underwear
Escape Game “Josephine’s underwear”: two sessions at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. from Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to Sunday, May 3, 2026 (only Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
Please note: this service is separate from the castle tour. See our rates on the escape game page and book only through our online ticketing service.
You will have the privilege of accessing a part of the castle not open to the rest of our visitors!
- From 2 to 6 players
- 1.5 hours on site, including 60 minutes of gameplay (15 minutes of briefing/debriefing)
- Ages 10 and up
- Accessible to novice and experienced gamers
- Ideal for families, friends, colleagues, etc.
- Not accessible to people with reduced mobility, heart conditions, claustrophobia, epilepsy, or vulnerable individuals.

Clues have been scattered throughout the gardens of the Château des Milandes!
Each clue will lead you to the final riddle, allowing you to leave with a lovely souvenir!
